What we've been up to at Codomo Granada in May

A quick recap of the community events we organized at Codomo Granada in April and May: themed dinners, rooftop painting, a guided workout, and a hands-on sushi workshop.
What we've been up to at Codomo Granada in May

Over the past months, we've hosted a series of community events at Codomo Granada: shared dinners, a rooftop workout, and a sushi workshop. Here's a look at what we've been up to!

The Don Quixote dinner & sushi workshop

We kicked things off with a themed dinner inspired by La Mancha and the world of Don Quixote. Residents on a meal plan got to try a menu full of Spanish regional dishes.

Besides the themed dinner, residents gathered for a sushi-making workshop too. Relaxed, hands-on, and full of the kind of small talk that quietly turns into real conversation. Plenty of laughs, a few lopsided rolls, and the easy atmosphere that comes when you give people something to do with their hands.

Wine & painting on the rooftop

Next came a painting session on the rooftop terrace, with the Sierra Nevada as a backdrop and a glass of wine in hand. Some residents went full artist and walked away with genuinely impressive canvases. Others mostly came for the atmosphere, which was equally valid. Either way, by the time the sun went down, the terrace was full of conversations between people who hadn't met before.

Rooftop workout session

A professional trainer, a cooling evening breeze, and that golden hour light that makes Granada look like a postcard. We hosted a group workout session on the rooftop that was as much about finally meeting your neighbours as it was about actually working out. A good way to break up the week and to put a name to the faces you keep running into on the stairs.
