December at Codomo: the coziest month of the year

To end the year together in style, we planned a full calendar of festive activities. Our residents made it unforgettable.

December at Codomo: the coziest month of the year

December is the coziest month of the year - and at Codomo Living Granada, we truly felt it. To close our first year together in style, we planned a full calendar of festive, cosy, and community-driven activities. And once again, our residents made it unforgettable.

Christmas spirit in every corner

We kicked off December with the Christmas Door Decoration contest. Residents decorated their room doors with their own Christmas style, and the results were amazing. From reindeer and garlands to Christmas trees and creative DIY decorations - the whole building came to life. Walking through the corridors instantly felt more festive, warm, and welcoming.

Baking together: Gingerbread Cookie workshop

On December 4, it was time to get creative (and delicious) during our Gingerbread Cookie workshop. In the restaurant, residents learned how to bake and decorate gingerbread cookies together. The smell of fresh cookies filled the space, and the results were both tasty and impressive. A perfect mix of creativity, fun, and festive flavours.

A cosy Christmas Movie Night

On December 8, we slowed things down with a Christmas Movie Night. Together, we watched Home Alone and got fully into the holiday spirit. Because let’s be honest - watching Kevin’s adventures is even better when you’re not alone. Laughter, cosy vibes, and good company made this evening extra special.

A festive taste of the north: Viking Route

December also brought something special to the table with our gastronomic Viking Route event on December 11. Residents with a meal plan enjoyed dishes inspired by Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland - a unique culinary journey that added an international touch to the holiday season.

Ending the year together

The highlight of the month - and of the year - was our Christmas & New Year’s Eve Party on December 17.

We started the evening with delicious bites and relaxed conversations. As the night went on, a DJ turned up the energy and the party really got going. At midnight, we followed tradition and enjoyed 12 grapes together to welcome the New Year in true Codomo style - wishing each other luck and good fortune. It was the perfect way to close our very first year as a community.

During the party, we also announced the winners of the Christmas Door Decoration contest, celebrating all the creativity we had seen throughout the building.

¡Feliz Navidad!

Celebrating as a community

December reminded us what Codomo is all about: coming together, sharing moments, and creating memories.

We couldn’t have imagined a better way to end the year - together, as a community.
